The air ravished the atmosphere when the first tear drops, he does not know where to go or what to do. Suddenly a man with a tall height of over 6 feet and shiny black hair with a well-managed stubble appeared. He came near the bench with a small smile on his face. A comforting smile…, A smile to make people feel at home, a smile that allowed people to openly talk without being feared to be judged.

“I am Liam, been here for a while?” said the tall man with the stubble. This was followed by a moment of silence which was neither awkward nor convenient but in itself just a moment, and then came the reply from the other side

“Yea, been a while here, I guess”, said Elijah clearing up a few apparent tear drops from his face. Looking into the dampened yet shiny sky, “Do you think life’s fair?” asked Liam whilst still carrying a comforting smile. “Well, even if it is, it is not” replied Elijah finding some comfort in this newly establishing converse.

Hmmm, well a mouse dies and is born without truly ever being recognized for the experiments that were carried on him The experiments prompted the creation of the medicine that cleared a worldwide pandemic. A Lion eats a Deer whilst in captivation, making a spectacle for the photographers viewing the iconic moment. A Deer finds a pond for her newly born cubs so that they won’t die of thirst. A man spends his whole life for the pleasure of the people who he believed to be his, but yet is left alone in a crowd of hundreds. “ Isn’t it funny?” asked Liam, “Funny, how the world works.” “ It is I guess” replied Elijah.

Scolding his hands against his chest tightly, Elijah starts speaking, “a child is born in a village not so far from the cities, he does not know what right and wrong is just like any other child, he doesn’t have anyone he can rely on, he knows if not for himself he would die there and then. He grows to learn things a child his age shouldn’t, he knows how to kill people when it comes to it, he knows how to get things that aren’t his without feeling much guilt. He learns about honor thereon and what little he has of this wanted potion.

He finds honor in the things that he does, he in no way is a bad guy, just still a child afraid of the pain that starvation brings. He feared starvation, couldn’t forget how much it hurt that one time when he stole a bread from a dog out of desperation, getting bit in the process. Despite all this, he knows not to kill a man, as he had understood that life in itself is precious and something far more beautiful than this feeling of hunger that he so feared. He saved a few women from being forced upon when he finally understood what was happening. He did not care for appreciation as he had never, it just made him feel better inside, as this was some feeling other than just mere hunger, yet he was appreciated by the police that soon came following, who at first glance, had thought of him as the rapist. Unbeknown to him, he was also featured on a small television show some late night.

He grew even more in his 20s and 30s, learned to be of help when needed, started dressing more appropriately, even had a girlfriend he thought he loved. But despite him nearly have forgotten the feel of hunger, he was taken a back when a woman unknown to him, who had taken a liking to him did not like being told that he was unavailable. She threatened him to be with her, but after being strongly denied, she started shouting. The guy ran fearing for the first time something other than mere hunger. He did not want to lose anything that he had at the moment. And yet everything was forcedly taken. He was in prison for 5 years for a crime he did not understand. He came out to find his wife had died only a few months back, he knew that she was sick but did not know what he could do as he had no money.

Strolling around at night, he came to a bench as tears filled his eyes, and yet again feeling the familiar feeling of hunger when a stranger sat next to him.

“What is that child to do now?” asked Elijah, there was no response as he found no one sitting there anymore. Suddenly he felt heavy, and closed his eyes falling down from the bench brushing the few ramped brown leaves on the ground. He was pronounced dead of starvation the very next day

Hopefully, this story was interesting, I am new to the blogging industry and also write some stories like the above every now and then.
